DIRECTING/PRODUCING
INSPIRED BY. . .
Director (Mirror Stage. Seattle, WA.)
I directed a short play as part of Mirror Stage’s festival of short works inspired by an ongoing research-based, journalistic podcast about Seattle history. I utilized unique staging and a Viewpoints-informed approach to connect with performers and audience members and help tell a story about art, community, and the coexistence of hope and hopelessness.
RECOVER: A CABARET BY AND FOR PEOPLE WITH MENTAL ILLNESS
Producer and host (Copious Love Productions. Seattle, WA.)
This was a cabaret variety show by and for people with mental illness. I created a fundraising campaign to pay my cast and crew a rate above industry standard. This was a powerful community event where we felt empowered to tell our own stories.
DANGER ANGEL
Director and Producer (Copious Love Productions. Seattle, WA.)
A durational drag solo show about queer revolution, living with strong emotions, and turning your pain neon so it glows. This show explores a lifelong obsession with angels and fairies. I embody my status as a grieving social outcast and find my power in this “monologue through music.”
VARIOUS DRAG PIECES (Seattle, WA. )
Director and deviser
I worked with multiple performers and writers in Seattle to create group numbers and duets.

B.A. in English Literature from Lewis & Clark College (Phi Beta Kappa, cum laude, Dean’s List, editor of a literary journal)
RESEARCH
I received a grant to research the poet Frank O’Hara. I visited archives and various locations in NYC and wrote about community, queerness, and the artistic revolution of the post-WW II era in NYC.
I have assisted on academic and professional research projects, including working in archives and providing dramaturgical perspectives.
I have written works about the medical humanities, gender non-conforming historical figures, and am fascinated by our world and creatures that fight the concept that they do not belong.
TEACHING
I teach workshops on creative writing and multidisciplinary artistic practice with a concentration on character building, dialogue, and creating work within capitalistic constraints.
